JAMMU, Nov 7: KC Sports Club claimed Lawn Tennis title in the ongoing Sportathon Cup 2016, being organized at KC School, here.
In Lawn Tennis, Under- 16 Girls Category final, Pawanpreet of KC Sports Club defeated Komal of D P S in singles and claimed the title, while in Under- 16 Boys doubles Aryaman and Tarun of K C Public School defeated Bhavya Dev Singh and Samay of K C Sports to win the title.
The Football Match was played between K C Public School and K C International in which KCPS won by 6-0. Vardaan scored Hatrick while Bilal Javed scored 2 goals and Namandeep pelted one. The match was officiated by Suresh Gupta, Ricky, Rocky and Elizha Sotra.
In mixed doubles, Bhavya Dev Singh and Pawanpreet of K C Sports Club defeated Aryamqan Wazir and Mokshi of K C Public School.
In overall, 1st position went to K C Sports Club with 2 gold and 1 silver, 2nd position was bagged by K C Public School with 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze. The 3rd position was taken by DPS.
