JAMMU, Apr 1: Vijay Kumar Sharma, a trainee of KC Sports Club, sparkled by proving his grit to bag 14th spot in the Marathon (42.2 KM) organized by the State of Punjab in Chandigarh, recently.
Vijay had prepared himself well through fitness and stamina-building facilities at KC Sports Club under the guidance of his coach Dileep Sharma.
He is the only person from J&K to have bagged 14th spot especially when there were more than 350 athletes taking part in this challenging competition.
Chairman of KC Sport Club, Raju Chowdhary and Managing Director Arjun Chowdhary lauded the efforts of the athlete for this remarkable achievement.
