KCS College of Education observes International Women Day

JAMMU, Mar 7: NSS and cultural unit of KCS College of Education (Women) organized a cultural function to commemorate “International Women Day” in the college, today.
The convener, cultural committee, Divya Sharma invited the Principal, Prof O P Sharma for its inauguration. In his inaugural speech, Principle said, that women must come forward to ameliorate the problems of women folk on the one hand and the problems confronting at the National and International level on the other.
After declaring open the event the students of B.Ed, M.Ed and Polytechnic exhibited their talent in dancing, singing, mono-acting, skits, recitation of poems and modeling.
U S Chaudhri, president Kalamkari Centre Society graced the occasion and lauded the efforts of the cultural and NSS unit of the college in particular and all other supporting paraphernalia in general.
The vote of thanks was presented by Ruchika Chib, staff secretary of the college.
