JAMMU, May 6: Sixteen students from KC Public School, Jammu, showcased their remarkable talent and cultural finesse at the 8th edition of the prestigious Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Dharohar Festival, held at Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior.
KCPS students, accompanied by escort teacher and cultural coordinator Shobhna Sethi, participated in various visual, performing and culinary arts competitions. Sanvi Rajput and Avnee Bhagotra earned praise in Gamusha Chitron, while Aashvi Sharma and Aeishna Sharma stood out in Puthi Chitrankon. Kamakshi Verma depicted Kaziranga National Park in Water colour painting. Nividha Singh and Abida Jain impressed audiences with thematic performances blending Assamese melodies and mythology.
In culinary arts (Rondhon Shoili), Anadika Pandoh and Kavya Mahajan prepared authentic vegetarian Assamese dishes like Dahi Chiwda and Pitha. The Bihu Folk Dance competition saw powerful performances by Anvesha Sharma, Mokshita Bangar, Bhavika Singh, Saanvi Rajput, Chitrangna Sharma, Aryn Gupta, Aashriya Anand and Kavya Mahajan.
