JAMMU, May 22: KC Public School (Senior Wing) organized a leadership programme today at KC Sports Club to formally acknowledge the newly elected Student Council for the academic year 2025–26. The event highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing leadership and democratic values among students.
The programme began with the school choir performing the school song, followed by a ceremonial march-in by student leaders. Principal Amarendra Kumar Mishra administered an oath of office, stressing honesty, sincerity, and responsibility.
Dr. Vikas Sharma, Deputy Director (Estates, Jammu), graced the occasion as chief guest. He conferred badges and insignias on the council members and applauded the school’s focus on student empowerment.
In his address, the chief guest praised the staff’s dedication to quality education and encouraged the student leaders to lead by example. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the Vice Principal, followed by the national anthem.
