JAMMU, Jan 29: KC International School hosted the Late Vinay Kumar Mahajan 8th Inter-School Junior Football Tournament 2025-26. The two-day event saw highly competitive matches and enthusiastic participation from leading schools across the region.
The tournament was graced by chief guest Satpal Singh Kala, former Divisional Sports Officer and AFC ‘A’ License Football Coach, special guest Nazir Ahmad, Head of Referees J&K and AIFF Referees Instructor, along with Jonny Singh and Gagan Kumar as guests of honour. Chaitanya Chowdhary, President of KCIS, also attended.
After thrilling matches, KC International School emerged as Champions with a commanding 4-0 victory in the grand finale. Individual honours went to Aum Sharma (Best Scorer) and Ahaan Bhatt (Player of the Tournament), while Harkirat Singh received the Best Goalkeeper award.
Principal Anupama Sinha lauded the efforts of players, coaches, and organizers, emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The tournament highlighted sporting excellence and the spirit of fair play among young athletes.
