KCCC crushes Friends Cricket Club by 10 wkts

JAMMU, Apr 11: Star-studded Kishan Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) thrashed Friends Cricket Club (FCC) by 10 wickets in the ongoing Jammu Tawi Premier League T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Jammu Tawi Sports Club at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here.
Earlier, batting first, FCC collapsed at 48 runs in 12 overs as skipper and leg-spinner Manik Gupta wreaked havoc by taking 4 important wickets in his 4 overs, while speedster Soumay Jain and slow bowler, Sahil Lotra claimed 2 wickets each. Atul and Ricky were the two batsmen who crossed double figure mark, scoring 14 and 12 runs respectively.
In reply, KCCC chased the target in just 4 overs without losing a wicket, thus won the match by 10 wickets. Openers Suryansh Raina and Sahil Lotra scored unbeaten 21 and 15 runs respectively. Manik Gupta was adjudged as man of the match for his brilliant bowling display.
The matches were officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik, Rajinder Singh and Sanju.
In tomorrow’s fixture, RCC Srinagar will take on I-Tec XI at 12:30 pm.
