JAMMU, Feb 9: Kashyap Cricket Club (KCC) emerged victorious in the KPL Veteran Cup-20, held at the KC Sports Club Ground in Jammu. Batting first, KCC posted a formidable total of 207/4 in their 20 overs, thanks to a brilliant knock of 97 runs from Rocky Raina, with valuable contributions from Amit Rania (39) and Deepak (24).
In response, Sharika Cricket Club gave a strong fight but fell short by 12 runs, finishing at 195/6. Manmohan and Vineet Raina were the standout performers for Sharika, scoring 77 and 65 runs respectively.
Rocky Raina shine with both bat and ball, taking three wickets and was awarded Man of the Match for his all-round performance. He was also named Man of the Series and Best Bowler. Deepak was recognized as the Best Batsman and Saksham Koul was honoured as the emerging player of the Tournament.
The tournament was organized by Sanjeev Kant Sharma, Anil Ambardar and Sanjay Koul, in association with KC Sports Club Jammu. The closing ceremony was attended by Ashwani Razdan and other dignitaries.
