JAMMU, Mar 4: Sanjay Pandey, Vice Principal of KC Public School, attended the Safeguarding Conference at The British School, New Delhi. The conference, with over 150 delegates from across India, focused on child safeguarding and was hosted in partnership with the UK’s Safeguarding Alliance.
The event aimed at school leaders, well-being champions, and pastoral teams, featuring expert-led sessions from both the UK and India. The conference provided valuable insights into global safeguarding practices, helping educators adopt innovative strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
KC Public School said they have already taken steps to enhance its safeguarding efforts, training 60 teachers in Basic Counselling Skills over the past two years. This initiative ensures teachers can offer vital pastoral care and mental health support.
