JAMMU, Dec 11: KC International School celebrated its much-awaited Annual Day on December 10 and 11 with a spectacular showcase of talent, tradition and educational excellence.
The two-day extravaganza featured music, dance, theatre and a grand award ceremony, reflecting KCIS’s commitment to nurturing young minds with creativity, values and a spirit of dreaming big.
The day one event was graced by Minister Satish Sharma as chief guest, along with Justice Sunil Hali, Chairperson J&K FFRC; Subah Mehta, Joint Commissioner JMC & Addl. CEO Jammu Smart City; Randhir Singh Slathia, Social Activist; and Amit Gupta, Incharge, Convener Advocate Law and Legal Affairs Department, BJP, UT of J&K.
The day two witnessed the presence of MLAs Vikram Randhawa and Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal, with distinguished guests including Rahul Sahai, Chairman Indian Chamber of Commerce; Amarjeet Singh, Special Secretary, Hospitality and Protocol Department; Sugandha Mahajan, HOD Botany, Cluster University; Sumeet Sharma, Drama Instructor, University of Jammu; and Dr Poonam Manyal. Other eminent attendees included Amit Bhasin, SSP Traffic City, Jammu; Dr Ajay Sharma, SP City South; Manav Gupta, Financial Advisor – CAO J&K Govt; Yogesh Sawhney, ex- Minister and school management members Chaitanya Chowdhary (President), Vishal Chowdhary (Vice President), Saroj Mahajan (General Secretary), Dr. Shikha Chowdhary (Finance Secretary), Aryaman Chowdhary, Bindu Chopra, and Ruby Kapoor.
The celebrations commenced with a warm welcome by Anupama Sinha, Principal, followed by introductions of dignitaries by Vice Principal Roma Gupta and Headmistress Sakshi Bhagat. Students presented Pre-Primary musical drama “Pinocchio,” Primary enactment “Dare to Dream,” and Middle & Senior School musical “Paradise Regained,” interwoven with a grand sports display.
The school council, including Head Boy Agrim Banotra, Head Girls Tejal Pandita and Saachi Sundeep Bhat, Cultural Captain Vansheen Koul, Sports Captains Vasu Sharma and Saniya Zutshi, presented the Annual Report highlighting academic, sports and co-curricular achievements. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Aryaman Chowdhary.
