KC International School holds programme

JAMMU, Nov 12: KC International School hosted the 16th season of its flagship event, ‘Sur Sangam 2024,’ an inter-school music competition, here today. The event, which saw participation from 18 schools across the Jammu region, showcased the exceptional musical talents of students. The competition featured three categories: Solo Song Junior, Solo Song Senior, and Group Song, with students delivering impressive performances that captivated the audience.
Padma Shri Romalo Ram, a renowned Dogri Folk Singer, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Dharmesh Nargotra, a celebrated Gazalist, Semi Feroz, a Gazalist and Tabla player, and Sahil Nath, a respected Rhythmist and Music Director, honoured the event as guests of honour and also served as the adjudicators.
KC International School emerged as the top performer, winning the Solo Song Junior, Solo Song Senior, and Group Song categories. Divyansh Sudan and Aryan Bangotra from KC International School won the top positions in the Solo Song Junior and Solo Song Senior categories, respectively. In the Group Song category, KC International School secured the first position. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal, who praised the participants and the music department for their efforts in making the event a grand success.
