19KATHUA, Sept 18: Kartar Public School (KPS), Barnoti here today held a function in the school premises with zeal and enthusiasm.
SSP Manjit Kour, Police Training School Kathua, was the chief guest while Dr Arvinder Singh Amn (advisor, Kartar Education Trust), attended as guest of honour. Navjyot Singh, president of Parents Association, also graced the occasion.
Nirmaljit Singh, Chairman Kartar Education Trust, Harpreet Kour, Principal, Dhamanpreet Kour, Vice Principal, Upinder Bandral, Administrative Officer, and Captain Mohan Singh, MTO, were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Manjit Kour highlighted the disciplined parade, energetic presentations, and cultural programme by the students, describing it as a blend of leadership and creativity.
Earlier, Principal Harpreet Kour explained the objective of organizing the event, stressing its role in building discipline and dedication among students.
The event featured the badging of the newly elected student and teachers’ council, cultural items including an episode from Mahabharata, and oath-taking by the student leaders.
