KARGIL, Apr 21: In a moment of immense pride for Ladakh, Mohammad Javeed, Physical Training Instructor at the University of Ladakh (Kargil Campus), has been selected as a Coach for the Indian Senior Men’s Volleyball Team for the upcoming CAVA Nations League 2025, scheduled to be held in Pakistan from May 29 to June 4, 2025.
With this achievement, Javeed becomes the first NSNIS and FIVB Level-1 certified Volleyball Coach from Ladakh to represent India on an international platform. He will attend the national coaching camp at SAI NSSC, Bengaluru, from April 25 to May 26.
The University of Ladakh hailed his selection as a testament to his dedication and expertise, calling it a proud moment for the institution and the entire region.
Social activist Sajjad Kargili and Syed Mehraj Uddin Shah, General Secretary of the District Kargil Olympic Association, also extended warm congratulations, celebrating Javeed’s accomplishment as a boost to Ladakh’s sporting identity.
