Karalian Club outplays Vijaypur CC

SAMBA, Feb 16: In order to strengthen Police-Public relation and to promote sports activities among the youth, Samba Police is organizing Cricket Tournament under the Civic Action Programme at the ground opposite Government Degree College, here.
The second match of tournament was played between Vijaypur Cricket Club and Karalian Cricket Club in which later emerged out as winner.
Earlier, batting first, Vijaypur Cricket Club scored a modest total of 103 runs in 18.2 overs.
Karalian Cricket Club, in reply chased the target in 15.2 overs with three wickets in hand, thus won the match by 3 wickets.
Tejinder Singh who scored 24 runs and took 2 wickets was declared man of the match.
