Kabaddi team flagged off for Nat’l C’ship

JAMMU, Mar 18: Men’s Kabaddi team of Jammu and Kashmir was flagged off to participate in 70th Senior National Kabaddi Championship scheduled to be held at Ahmednagar, Maharashtra from March 21 to 24.
The selected team was given a warm send off by General Secretary of the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta. The screening of the team was conducted by the J&K Sports Council.
The sports kits were distributed to the players by Ashok Kumar, Former Director SMVDU in the presence of Vikas Dogra, Manager of the Stadium, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary of the Association, Former General Secretary Surinder Mohan, Tanveer Ahmed, President, Ashok Kumar, Former District Secretary and Vishal Bamotra of Udhampur District Kabaddi Association.
The selected team were Sanjeet Kumar (Captain), Aamir Hamidwani, Irfan Ahmed Mir, Farman Ali, Akshey Singh, Abhiskek Gupta, Vikas, Rohit, Nishant, Krishnaveer, Rajan Singh Manhas, Amrit Dev Singh. Manik Sharma, Chief Coach, Ram Kumar Assistant Coach and Ashok Kumar will be team manager.
