JAMMU, Dec 9: The University of Jammu Volleyball (Men) team opened its campaign with an impressive win in the North Zone Inter-University Volleyball (Men) Tournament 2025–26, being hosted by the Central University of Haryana. Demonstrating exceptional form, the team defeated MRU Faridabad in straight sets by 3–0, with commanding scores of 25–11, 25–15 and 25–11, showcasing their dominance from start to finish.
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu, congratulated the players for their outstanding performance and praised their teamwork and determination. He also acknowledged the committed efforts of Azhar Hussain Shah (Coach) and Sat Paul (Manager), whose guidance and support have played a key role in the team’s preparation.
