JAMMU, Sept 16: The Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi (Men) Tournament 2025-26, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, entered its second day with electrifying performances and intense competition.
The tournament, aimed at fostering a vibrant sports culture among youth, featured several high-energy matches showcasing exceptional skill, strength and teamwork. Players impressed with their agility, coordination, and strategic game play, while the crowd’s enthusiastic cheers added to the spirited atmosphere.
On the second day of the tournament, GDC Kathua secured a convincing win over GDC Udhampur by 17 points, while GDC Doda outplayed GDC Hiranagar with a 22-point lead. In a close contest, GDC Marheen edged past GDC Ramgarh by just 2 points. GDC Chenani delivered a strong performance to defeat MBS College by 16 points. GCET Jammu overcame UIET Kathua, also with a 16-point margin. GDC Kunjwani triumphed over GDC Sunderbani by 15 points, and GDC Poonch defeated GDC Gaghwal by 10 points. GDC Khour dominated their match against BDC Udhampur, winning by a significant 25-point margin. Meanwhile, MIET College registered a 6-point victory over GDC Samba, wrapping up an action-packed day of high-energy matches and competitive spirit.
