JAMMU, Dec 16: Jammu University Volleyball team left for participation in the forthcoming North Zone Inter-University Volleyball (Women) Tournament 2021-22, which is scheduled to be organized by Kurukshetra University from December 18 to 22.
Professor Dipankar Sen Gupta, Director Poonch Campus, University of Jammu and Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, JU interacted with the players and flagged off the women’s team at University Sports Stadium.
Team: Meenakshi, Kamlesh Kumari, Shivani, Champa Devi, Priyanka Sharma, Sunena Bharti, Raavish Urooj, Arushi Sharma, Rifat Choudhary, Simran Bhagat, Rupali Bamotra and Harpreet Kour, whereas Neetan Sharma and Bhavna Sharma will accompany the team as coach and manager respectively.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Vikas Karlopia, Padam Dev Singh and Jai Bharat.
