JAMMU, Feb 10: The Softball (Men) team of the University of Jammu today left for participation in the All India Inter University Softball Championship 2015-16 to be organized by Lovely Professional University, Jallandhar from tomorrow.
The University Softball team is participating for the first time in the All India Inter-University Championship.
The 15 members team comprises of Vikram Singh Chib (Captain), Anukul Bhagat, Vikram Singh, Prashant Singh, Sachindev Singh, Abhishek Singh, Sagar Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Jivanjot Singh, Upander Singh, Amit Sharma, Sumit Sharma, Vishal Wellum, Ajay Choudhary and Rajinder Singh,
Varinder Singh Salathia and S Arvinder Singh Sodhi are accompanying the team as a coach and manager respectively.
Prof Dhian S Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu interacted with the team members before their departure.
