JAMMU, Nov 22: Jammu Sanskriti School (JSS) hosted a thrilling Sahodaya Under-17 Interschool Skating Competition, bringing together participants from more than 12 schools amid excitement and sportsmanship. The event was graced by chief guest Jatin Sabarwal, guest of honour Aiyza Naaz and special invitees Jugraaj Singh and Kamal Anand. Vice Principal Avneet Kour Budhraja welcomed the dignitaries and participants, emphasising the role of sports in character-building and holistic development.
The competition featured exhilarating races across multiple categories. In Inline 300 m and 500 m Girls, Kamakshi Sharma (Srijan International) secured first place in both, followed by Rabani (Jodhamal Public School) and Pihu (Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu). In Quads 300 m and 500 m Girls, Sumanya Saini (JSS Jammu) took first position, with Akshita Sharma (Jodhamal) second and Enaya (IDPS Jammu) third. Boys’ winners included Svanik Mansotra, Dharun Sharma, Parik Chandel, Manas Verma, Manayavar Mahajan, Neelesh, Sushant Choudhary, Laksh Kumar and Shoray across the Inline and Quads events. The event concluded with prize distribution.
