JAMMU, Dec 15: Jammu Sanskriti School (JSS), Jammu has been awarded with State level SDG Hero-2021 for its immense contributions and relentless efforts in implementing Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) widely.
The Global Sustainability Awards-2021 was organized by Earth Day Network in collaboration with SDG Choupal and ARCedtech at Gurugram.
More than 150 schools were part of this competition from four continents and nine different countries such as Croatia, Canada, Argentina Honduras, India, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, UAE and UK.
The nominations were entirely merit based which was categorized into two rounds on which schools were evaluated. The 1st round was based on online questionnaire having 44 responses to submit, while the 2nd round was based on presentation and validation respectively.
