JSS awarded with International School Award

JAMMU, Jan 16: Jammu Sanskriti School (JSS) Jammu has been awarded with International School Award by British Council in recognition of its work to bring the world into the classroom.
The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities which works with over 100 countries in the fields of arts and culture, English language, education and civil society.
The International School Award celebrates the achievements of schools that do exceptional work in international education. Fostering an international dimension in the curriculum is at the heart of the British Council’s work with schools, so that young people gain the cultural understanding and skills they need for life work in today’s world.
It is pertinent to mention here that the School have received 100 percent marks in all activities. The school throughout its journey ensured to develop an international ethos embedded throughout the school, a wholesome approach to international work, collaborative curriculum-based work with a number of partner schools besides year-round international activity by involving the wider community.
On being awarded with prestigious award, the School Principal, Rohini Aima said that our school aim is to nurture global citizens for tomorrow’s collaborative work culture.
