JAMMU, Feb 2: JP World School hosted the closing ceremony of the U-14 Interschool Boys Football Tournament with great enthusiasm and sporting spirit.
The ceremony was graced by the chief guest, Dr Haseeb Mughal, DIG Traffic Jammu, whose presence added motivation and prestige to the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Dr Mughal appreciated JP World School for its initiative in promoting sports at the grassroot level. He emphasized the importance of discipline, teamwork and physical fitness in shaping responsible and confident individuals. Encouraging the young players, he stated that sports play a vital role in developing leadership qualities, resilience, and self-confidence, which are essential for success in life.
The Principal of JP World School, Aparana Kohli, expressed pride in successfully hosting the tournament. She highlighted the school’s commitment to holistic education, where equal importance is given to academics and sports. She also applauded the efforts of the players, coaches, referees, and the organizing committee for ensuring the smooth conduct of the event.
The tournament concluded with an exciting final match between RM Public School and JP World School, which kept the spectators enthralled. JP World School emerged as the winner, lifting the championship trophy. Both teams showcased remarkable skill and determination, reflecting the high standard of football throughout the tournament.
