JAMMU, Oct 14: JP World School hosted a thought-provoking and interactive talk show featuring two celebrated figures from the Indian film industry — Rahat Shah Kazmi, an internationally acclaimed producer and director and Tahir Hussain Khan, a noted producer, actor and director.
Rahat Shah Kazmi, known for his award-winning films such as Mantostaan and Lihaaf, has received over fifty international accolades, including the prestigious Best Director Award at BAFTA by the UK Asian Film Festival in 2017. He was also nominated for Best Director at the Bollywood ITA Awards in 2022.
Tahir Hussain Khan, recognised for his impactful works including Identity Card, Side A & Side B and Mantostaan, engaged with students on the scope of careers in the film and media industries.
The session offered students a unique opportunity to gain insight into the world of cinema, creativity, and storytelling. Principal Aparna Kohli shared that such interactive sessions are now a regular part of the school curriculum, aimed at broadening students’ career perspectives and encouraging holistic growth.
