Jodhamal’s Soham excels at National Science Exam

JAMMU, June 7: Jodhamal Public School has once again brought pride to Jammu & Kashmir with stellar performances in the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM), a national-level science talent exam. Out of 106 participants from the school, 11 qualified for the state-level round held at CSIR-IIIM Jammu in December 2024. Among them, Soham Chandra Singh (Class VII) secured 1st Rank, while Jayendra Singh Jasrotia (Class IX) and Guransh Singh (Class VII) each secured 3rd Rank.
Soham advanced to the national level at IIT Kanpur, where he secured 3rd Rank in the North Zone, becoming the only student from Jammu & Kashmir to achieve this honour. His success follows last year’s achiever, Ryan Lamba, who secured 1st Rank in the North Zone.
Teachers Shallu Singh Jamwal, LB Avinash Singh, Elizabeth and Ridhima Jain mentored the students. Trustee Nandan Kuthiala, Director Arati Kuthiala and Vice Principal Amita Arora congratulated them all.
