Jodhamal School holds Annual Sports Day

JAMMU, Dec 8: Jodhamal Public School celebrated its 20th Annual Sports Day 2025 with immense zeal and camaraderie on the school campus. A spectacular and well-coordinated march past by the NCC Naval and Army wing cadets left the audience captivated.
A series of track and field events formed the core of the day’s festivities. Students participated in large numbers in the 100m, 200m, 400m races, along with 4x100m and 4x200m relay events, drawing constant applause from spectators.
Discovery House emerged as the winner of the Best House in Sports Trophy, while Amender Singh Chopra and Anandini Sharma were honoured with the All-Rounder Athlete of the Year Award. The school also acknowledged students who have represented India at international competitions and Jammu & Kashmir at the national level.
Over 80 students are expected to participate in upcoming School Nationals across various disciplines including swimming, skating, matsogi-do, cricket, table tennis, wushu and football. The management, including Trustee Nandan Kuthiala and Director Arati Kuthiala, appreciated the tireless efforts of the staff and sports department.
A friendly tug-of-war between parents and teachers served as the exciting show-stopper. The event concluded with prize distribution, a vote of thanks and National Anthem.
