JAMMU, Jan 21: After the final selections in the JKUT Judo Championship, 20 members of the junior boys and girls Judo team today departed for Kolkata to participate in the Junior National Judo Championship, scheduled from January 23 to 26.
The selected players include Sana Sharma, Adn Arshad, Shilpa Rajput, Niharika Sharma, Sadaf Khatoon, Nandini Chib, Zainab Binti Ajaz, Anshika Sharma, Tanvi Thakur, Ikshita Pushap Midtada, Sumit Lal, Hitesh Kumar Chhibber, Vipul Yashovardhan, Mohammad Hadi, Prikshit Singh, Musaif Nazir and Rajan Bhardwaj.
The screening process was conducted by Iqbal Singh, Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, Arshi Nad, Manager Indoor Complex and Suraj Sharma, General Secretary. Danish Sharma, NDIO qualified, will accompany the team as coach. Officials and sports enthusiasts wished the team success in representing JKUT at the national level.
