JAMMU, Apr 13: Bringing pride to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Surjit Choudhary, an International Master Athlete from Jammu, showcased an outstanding performance at the 4th Khelo India Masters Games held in Delhi, clinching three medals in track and field events.
Surjit Choudhary secured a Gold medal in the 100-meter race, completing the sprint in an impressive 13.47 seconds. He also claimed two Silver medals-one in the Triple Jump with a jump of 9.03 meters, and the other in the Long Jump, recording a distance of 4.45 meters.
The prestigious national-level competition witnessed participation from over 3,000 master athletes from across the country, making Surjit’s achievement even more remarkable. A seasoned athlete, Surjit has previously represented India on international platforms and has brought numerous accolades to Jammu and Kashmir in various track and field events.
