JAMMU, Aug 22: Jammu and Kashmir Kurash Association today accorded warm send off to Danish Sharma, who left for Jakarta in Indonesia to represent India for participation in Asian Games.
The Association members were hopeful of him getting a medal in these prestigious games.
This is for the first time that a player from Jammu and Kashmir is represeng in Kurash in such a high profile games. The members who were present on the occasion included Dr Sandeep Singh, President JKKA; Saurav Choudhary, Vice Chairman; Vikas Coach; Rohit Gupta, Vipul Gupta and Shashi Balgotra.
