JAMMU, Feb 26: The Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association (JKRA) felicitated Asia Cup Gold Medalist Aneesha Sharma at a special ceremony held in Jammu, recognising her outstanding achievement and contribution to Indian shooting.
The programme was attended by several prominent dignitaries and members, including SS Sodhi, Governing Body Member of the National Rifle Association of India and President, JKRA, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Chairman, JKRA, Arun Mansotra, Treasurer, JKRA, Sharat Chander Singh, General Secretary & CEO, JKRA, Vishal Mehra, Coach & Mentor, Mission Olympics, Aman Singh, Coach, Vishal Sharma, National Medalist. All dignitaries congratulated Aneesha Sharma and conveyed their best wishes for her upcoming international assignment.
On the occasion, JKRA extended financial support to Aneesha as a gesture of appreciation and encouragement for her continued excellence. The association also congratulated her on being selected to represent India at the prestigious ISSF World Cup Zurich 2026, scheduled to be held in Zurich in June 2026.
SS Sodhi praised Aneesha’s dedication, discipline and mental strength. He expressed confidence that she will deliver an impressive performance at the upcoming World Cup. JKRA also thanked Manoj Sinha for his continued support towards promoting shooting sports in the Union Territory.
