JKP wrestler Benia Min reaches final of World Police Meet in USA

JAMMU, July 2: Constable Benia Min, representing the Jammu and Kashmir Police Central Sports Wrestling Team, has made the Union Territory proud by reaching the final of the prestigious World Police Meet, currently being held in the United States. He is set to compete for the Gold Medal tomorrow against a strong contender from the host nation, USA.
In another exciting development, fellow J&K Police wrestler Ishaq Ahmed (Lallu) will also showcase his skills tomorrow, with his matches scheduled in the ongoing International Championship.
Benia Min’s remarkable achievement highlights his dedication, discipline and excellence both as a police personal and an athlete. A well-known name in the wrestling circuit, he previously secured a Bronze Medal at the All-India Police Wrestling Championship 2023 and followed it up with a Gold Medal in 2024-demonstrating consistent progress and commitment.
