JAMMU, July 11: Jammu and Kashmir Golf Association (JKGA) today strongly condemned the misuse of its name by the persons who are not associated with it anymore.
According to an official statement issued here by general secretary JKGA, IB Singh, some persons are wrongly using the name of Jammu and Kashmir Golf Association, without any proper authorization, which the statement alleged to be a criminal act.
The statement claimed that there is a lot of resentment among the entire golfing fraternity of J&K State about these persons, who always have backstabbed the interest of golfers in the State.
Meanwhile, the JKGA, while rejecting the organization of KGC under its name in Kashmir valley on Sunday, said that the claims of the participation of golfers from all over the Country in this bogus tournament stand hollow, as there was hardly any information or notice to most of the golfers or any intimation to the golf clubs of the State.
