JAMMU, July 24: Young cricketers put up stellar performances as Jodhamal School, Heritage School, JP World School, DPS Srinagar and Foundation World School secured convincing wins in the ongoing U-14 Boys Inter-School Cricket Tournament, being organised by the J&K Cricket Association at multiple venues in Jammu and Srinagar.
At KCIS, Jodhamal School defeated KC International School by 2 wickets. KCIS scored 107/7 (Tazahir Lone 50, Divyam 21), while Hridhan Choudhary starred with 2 wickets and 31 runs to bag the Player of the Match award.
JP World School won by 5 wickets. JP World chased the target of 81 runs with contributions from Dhran (17) and Sarvagya Sethi (13), who was named Player of the Match. At the same venue, Heritage School outplayed GD Goenka by 57 runs. Aran Wahi (31), Saksh (34), and Rajveer (23) led the charge. Aran Wahi earned Player of the Match award. In Srinagar, DPS Srinagar beat Green Valley by 6 wickets, with Ruhaan taking 5 wickets and Inaam scoring 31. At Doon School, Foundation World School defeated Burn Hall by 7 wickets, powered by Assad’s 6-wicket haul. The tournament is being coordinated by Abdul Qayoom Bagaw, Vidhya Bhaskar, Meenu Singh Slathia and Sandeep Singh Sunny.
