JKCA Tigers wins U-14 Boys Inter-School Cricket Tourney

JAMMU, Aug 2: JKCA Tigers emerged victorious against Jodhamal School by 8 wickets in the final of the historic U-14 Boys Inter-School Cricket Tournament held at JP World School, here today. The tournament, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), featured eight teams from prominent schools aiming to discover young cricketing talent.
Jodhamal School posted a low total of 58 runs in 15 overs, with Ali Bilal, Adeesh, and Keshav Gupta taking 3 wickets each. JKCA Tigers comfortably chased the target, led by Chaitanya Dogra’s 28 runs.
Chaitanya Dogra was declared Player of the Match, Saksh Gupta as Best All-Rounder, Rahat Raina as Player of the Tournament and Ali Bilal as Most Promising Player.
The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Brigadier Anil Gupta, Member Administration JKCA; Mithun Manhas, Member Cricket Operations and Development JKCA; Ashok Singh, former first-class cricketer and JKCA senior selector; and Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director Physical Education and Sports, Cluster University Jammu.
