JKCA Leopards, DPS Srinagar set for title clash

JAMMU, July 25: The Inter-School U-14 Boys Cricket Tournament, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), witnessed thrilling semifinal and league-stage matches across venues in Jammu and Srinagar, as top schools competed for a place in the finals.
In Srinagar, JKCA Leopards stormed into the final after defeating Green Valley School by 195 runs. Arslan scored an unbeaten 101, while Anas bin Irshad contributed 66 runs to post 261/7. Green Valley was bowled out for 66, with Qamran taking 3 wickets. Arslan was named Player of the Match.
In the second semifinal, DPS Srinagar edged past Doon School by 7 runs. DPS posted 155/7, with Inaam Imraj (48), Hashir (32), and Rafid (30)* contributing. Doon fell short at 148 despite Hayaan’s 44. Azam Asif took 4 wickets including a hat-trick and won Player of the Match. In Jammu, JP World School beat GD Goenka by 7 wickets, chasing 41 in 7.3 overs. Imtiyaz took 4 wickets.
Heritage School defeated JKPS by 5 wickets, led by Saksh Gupta (94 runs, 2 wickets). JKCA Tigers crushed DPS Jammu by 10 wickets, chasing 26 in just 3 overs. Ibrahim was declared Player of the Match for his 3-wicket haul.
