JKCA Leopards, DPS, Green Valley shine as rain washes out Jammu matches

JAMMU, July 22: Heavy rain disrupted all scheduled matches in Jammu today in the ongoing U-14 Boys Inter-School Cricket Tournament, organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA). However, in Srinagar, matches continued with dominant performances from JKCA Leopards, Green Valley School and Delhi Public School (DPS) Srinagar.
At Doon School Ground, JKCA Leopards defeated Leads School by 9 wickets. Leads managed only 87 runs in 15 overs, with Amaan (38) and Reyan (24) as top scorers. Hazim produced a match-winning spell, taking 5 wickets including a hat-trick, while Milad claimed 4 wickets. In reply, JKCA Leopards chased the target losing just one wicket, led by Arslan (34) and Muzain (28). Hazim was named Player of the Match.
Earlier, Green Valley School crushed Foundation School by 9 wickets, chasing down 75 runs in just 7 overs. Ibrahim (3 wickets) and Himalaya (4 wickets) starred with the ball. Ibrahim was adjudged Player of the Match. At DPS Srinagar, DPS edged Burn Hall by 6 runs. DPS scored 131/4 with Rafid (34) and Dyan (32). Azam took 3 wickets for DPS and earned the Player of the Match award.
