JAMMU, Oct 13: In a commendable gesture, the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) provided premium clothing kits and SG Sunny Gold Icon bats to the J&K Deaf Cricket Team ahead of their participation in the IDCA 9th T20 National Championship for the Deaf in New Delhi (Nov 3–9, 2025).
The kits were handed over to team captain Umar Ashraf, who also serves as President of the Deaf Cricket Association J&K, by Brig Anil Gupta, Member Administration, JKCA.
Brig Gupta reiterated JKCA’s commitment, under BCCI guidance and President Mithun Manhas, to supporting cricket at all levels. The 16-member squad includes three international players, reflecting the team’s growing strength and aspirations.
