JAMMU, Aug 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association has announced the Selection Committee for the upcoming J&K Yuva Kabaddi Team trials and coaching camp. The trials for boys will be held from August 18 to 21, 2025, at the Polo ground Indoor Stadium, Srinagar, where players will be evaluated for the Yuva Kabaddi Series.
Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary of the association, confirmed that the selection of team probables will be carried out by a dedicated committee comprising experienced professionals. The committee members include MS Baba, Vice President and NIS Coach; Fazal Hussain and Ankush Chib, both Indian camp players; Mohd. Yakoob, District Secretary Kathua and fitness trainer Arshid Ahmed.
Following the trials, the under-23 coaching camp for the Yuva Kabaddi Series Monsoon Session 2025 will take place from August 24 to September 5 at the same venue. The main Yuva Kabaddi Series competition is scheduled from September 8 to 24 in Srinagar. This initiative is organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association in collaboration with the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council, aiming to promote young talent and foster competitive Kabaddi in the region.
