JAMMU, Feb 6: Jammu & Kashmir registered an impressive seven-wicket victory over Tamil Nadu in the Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy at the ACA Stadium, Barsapara, today. Chasing a target of 237, J&K produced a dominant batting performance led by Shambhavi Rajput, who remained unbeaten on 81 off 98 balls and Chitra Singh Jamwal, who scored a fluent 71 off 109 deliveries. Opener Bawaandeep Kaur contributed a steady 35, while Rubia Syed added quick runs with 38 to seal the chase in 49.1 overs for the loss of three wickets.
Earlier, Tamil Nadu posted 237/6 in 50 overs, with Arshi Choudhary scoring 80 and NS Subhaharini adding 67. Bismah Hassan starred with the ball for J&K, claiming 2/26, while Mahika Singh Rana took two wickets.
