J&K-UT Yoga team departs for National C’ship

JAMMU, Oct 24: The Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (UT) Yoga team departed today for Una, Himachal Pradesh, to participate in the 49th Sub-Junior and Junior National Yoga Sports Championship, scheduled from October 24 to 27.
The team was flagged off by B K Sudarshan Didi, the Patron-in-Chief of the Yoga Association J&K, along with Vice President BK Ravinder Bali and Secretary General Vinod Bhatia, who extended their best wishes on behalf of President Akhil Kapahi of the Yoga Association.
A total of 27 talented yoga players, comprising both boys and girls, will represent J&K UT at this prestigious event. The team led by national yoga referee Aryaaveer Singh, serving as the manager and coach, and is accompanied by fellow coaches Anushka Koul, Anuradha and Bandu Banotra.
The players representing the J&K UT include Urvashi, Annaya Kotwal, Veenakshi, Anishka Gupta, Aliya Akhtar, Nishita Meeniya, Vasvi Sharma, Gunjan Sharma, Akshi Sharma, Parth Sanmotra, Aadhya Gupta, Harshit Wazir, Rahul Singh, Navjot Singh, Krishna Chowdhary, Lakshya Mahajan, Shaurya Bandral, Surinder Rajput, Sandeep Kumar, Banshu Sharma, Arnav Singh and Sadhya Sharma.
