JAMMU, Aug 17: The J&K UT Taekwondo Championship 2025 will be held on August 18 and 19 at Gurudwara Hall, Rani Talab, Digiana, Jammu. Organized by the Taekwondo Association of Jammu & Kashmir under the aegis of India Taekwondo and the J&K Olympic Association, the event will feature athletes competing in Kyorugi (sparring) and Poomsae (forms).
Serving as the official selection trials for the 4th National Sub-Junior and Senior Taekwondo Championships 2025, this championship offers athletes a chance to represent J&K at the national stage in Cuttack, Odisha, later this month.
The event promotes Olympic sport in the UT, fosters youth participation, and aims to instill values of discipline, respect, and sportsmanship. It stands as a vital platform for nurturing Taekwondo talent in the region.
