JAMMU, May 31: The JK UT Level Kickboxing Championships 2025, held at Bhagwati Nagar Indoor Stadium, concluded today with a spectacular closing ceremony, celebrating the passion and perseverance of young martial artists.
Satish Sharma, Minister of Youth Services and Sports, graced the event as chief guest, applauding the efforts of organizers and athletes. B.N. Tantray, Chairman, Doon School, joined as special guest, while Padma Shri awardee Faisal Ali Dar inspired participants as guest of honour.
Distinguished attendees included Daud Iqbal Baba (Director, Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu), Gourav Chopra (Vice President, J&K Kickboxing Association and Corporator, Bakshi Nagar), Abhishek Jain (General Secretary, J&K Kickboxing Association), Irfan Choudhary (Jammu District General Secretary) and Sudarshan Singh (Senior Coach and Organising Secretary).
Jammu District, led by Shiksha Niketan School, clinched the Overall Trophy, followed by Bandipora District as Runner-Up and Rajouri District in Third Place. For the first time, the championship was digitally managed with real-time results published online via World Sports Data, setting a new benchmark in sports tech innovation.
