J&K UT Cycling C’ship culminates

JAMMU, Nov 15: The Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory Cycling Championship 2025 culminated today, showcasing the talent and determination of over 70 cyclists from 10 districts.
Organized under the aegis of the Cycling Federation of India (CFI) and conducted by the Cycling Association of Jammu & Kashmir (CAJK), the event was supported by the J&K Sports Council as part of the Fit India Movement initiative. The championship was flagged off under the leadership of Ravinder Singh, Chairman CAJK; Balvinder Singh, Vice President CAJK; Om Parkash Sharma, General Secretary CAJK; Ravi Salgotra, CEO CAJK; SS Gill, Coordinator CAJK; Shiv Kumar Sharma and Madan Lal, Executive Members, District Jammu Cycling Association and Vikash Kumar Sharma, PCP nominated by CFI.
In the Under-14 Girls category, Sobia Manzoor secured first place, followed by Hoor-I-Ein Lone in second and Saianshi Mahajan in third. In Under-14 Boys, Arslan claimed the top spot, Sahil Manzoor finished second and Hamid came third. Elite Women saw Mehak Mustaq winning Gold, with Ulfat Mustaq taking Silver. In Elite Men, Waheed Ahmad clinched first, Adil Teli second and Adil Altaf third.
In Junior Men, Artaf Bashir topped the podium, Anurag Kapoor was second and Saiom Mahajan third. Sub-Junior Boys results featured Aslan Ahmad in first, Mohammad second,and Aakif Noor third.
