JAMMU, Jan 4: Jammu & Kashmir’s Taekwondo athletes showcased their talent at the 40th National ITF Taekwondo Championship held at Maris Stella Indoor Stadium, Vijayawada.
Representing the Taekwondo Sports Association of Jammu & Kashmir, three athletes delivered an outstanding performance, winning a total of three medals. Shivnandan Sharma clinched a Gold, while Harpal Singh also secured Gold, demonstrating exceptional skill and discipline. Adarsh Lohatra added a Silver to the state’s tally, further highlighting the region’s growing prowess in Taekwondo.
The team was coached by Vicky Kumar, whose guidance played a key role and trained under chief instructor Manmohan Sharma, whose expert mentorship contributed significantly to the success.
