J&K Skaters shine at 10th Ranking Open National Speed Skating C’ship

JAMMU, Aug 22: The Jammu & Kashmir contingent delivered a stellar performance at the 10th Ranking Open National Speed Skating Championship held in Noida. With over 40 skaters representing the Union Territory, several athletes won medals and brought pride to J&K.
In the Quads category, standout performances came from Samarjot Singh (1 Gold), Udhay Narayan Sharma (2 Gold, 1 Silver), Arshjot Singh (1 Gold, 1 Bronze), and Adhira Kanotra (1 Bronze). In the Inline category, medallists included Divya Singh Jamwal (1 Bronze), Tabish Haider Chib (1 Gold, 1 Silver), Pavit Gupta (1 Silver, 1 Bronze), and Tamanna Saini (4 Silver). Udhay Narayan Sharma was declared the overall winner of the championship.
G.S. Khurmi, President of the J&K Roller Skating Association, team manager Nitin Kanotra, along with Association Members Kamal Anand and Jatin Sabarwal congratulated the team.
