JAMMU, Oct 7: J&K Jump Rope team brought laurels for the State by securing 3rd position in 11th Senior National Jump Rope Competition which was held in Gujarat from October 1 to 5, 2014.
The team snatched a total of 20 medals including 3 gold, 5 silver and 12 bronze in the competition. Uddit Khullar won 3 gold medals, one in Speed 30 seconds, second in Double Under and third in Tripple Under.
Raja Babu took silver in Speed 30 seconds while Navjot Singh, Tashir Ahmed, Rahul Choudhary and Nadeem Sayyad won silver in team event.
Aman Rai, Ibrar Khan, Mohit Kumar and Sanjeet Saini won bronze medals in team event while Navjot Singh, Tashir Ahmed and Rahul Choudhary won bronze in Double Touch.
Navjot Singh, Tashir Ahmed, Rahul Choudhary and Nadeem Sayyad also won bronze on Double Touch Pair Speed Relay.
The team was headed by Shubam Malhotra.
