JAMMU, Oct 9: The Savate Association of Jammu and Kashmir participated in the 8th National Savate French Boxing Championship 2025 held at Sports Complex, Sector 56, Chandigarh. Organized under the aegis of Savate Association India, the event saw participation from over 300 players of 15 states.
Plaksh Sanmotra secured Gold, while Silver medals were won by Vareniyam Sharma, Aadish Sharma, Ariz Mushtaq and Viraaj Sharma. Bronze medals went to Atharav Sharma, Mannat, Mohit Sharma, Sudhanshu Sharma, Harshdeep, Vishal Dubey, Ayoub Hussain and Harsh Mehra. The team was coached by Manoj Kumar Mehra. The championship was inaugurated by DC Savate South Asia General Secretary Paramjit Kaur and National Federation Founder Sukhwinder Singh Binjrawat, in the presence of international and national officials from FISav and Savate Association India.
