J&K player, coach among six leave for 8th Wushu World Cup

JAMMU, Oct 31: J&K player and coach were among six, who left to participate in the 8th Wushu World Cup to be held in Xian, China from tomorrow to November 7.
The selected players qualified for the prestigious event during the 13th World Wushu Championship held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Wushu Association of India in collaboration with Sports Authority of India (SAI) had organised the National Wushu coaching camp for the selected players and coach at NS NIS Patiala.
President, Wushu Association of India, Bhupender Singh Bajwa today flagged off the Indian team for the 8th World Cup. The team players are Uchit Sharma (SSCB), Surya Bhanu Partap Singh (J&K), Y Sanathoi Devi (Manipur), Pooja Kadian (CRPF), Monika of Haryana (Wild Card Entry) and Kuldeep Handoo (Chief Coach) J&K.
The office bearers of the Wushu Association of J&K S Owais, HK Lohia, Yogesh Sawhney, Ranjeet Kalra, Vijay Saraf, Mozam Bakshi, Deepak Handa and Sunil Sharma wished good luck to Indian team vis-à-vis Kuldeep Handoo and Surya Bhanu Partap Singh.
