JAMMU, Dec 17: J&K Judokas achieved great success at the 68th National School Games (NSG) in Ludhiana, winning one silver and three bronze medals. Mohd Hadi from Srinagar secured silver, while Prikshit Singh, Syed Azaan and Nazia Fatima, all from Srinagar, bagged bronze medals. The athletes were coached by Raman Sharma and Asiya.
The Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) honoured the medal winners at Youth Hostel Nagrota in a simple ceremony. Joint Director Ved Prakash and other officials congratulated the athletes with garlands and sweets. J&K has so far won 40 medals, including 8 Gold, 13 Silver, and 19 Bronze, in five disciplines at the ongoing NSG event.
