JAMMU, Oct 3: Fencers from the State of Jammu and Kashmir will take part in the Cadet National Fencing Championship to be held at Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh from October 8.
“18th Sub Junior and 13th Cadet National Fencing Championship will be held at Gwalior (MP) from October 8 to 11”, an official said here.
He added that the teams were selected and finalised after a 15-day long camp held at MA Stadium here under the guidance of professional coaches Rachna Jamwal and Shotu Lal.
24 fencers in each category of boys and girls were selected during the camp while the screening was held yesterday.
The teams will be accompanied by coaches Shotu Lal Sharma, Ujjwal Gupta and Ajay Khartol during the national championship.
